The patient was reviewed to evade persons with infections. The patient was taught in the importance of postural drainage and profound breathing exercises. The patient was reviewed in the need to use a vaporizer or humidifier at home. The patient was instructed on procedures of clearing secretions like coughing, positioning, splinting chest wall, or suctioning. The patient was instructed on adaptive breathing methods to decline work of breathing. The patient was recommended to stop smoking.
