SN instructed about Care of teeth. Brush twice daily. After getting up from bed and before going to the bed. Rinse mouth after taking food. Once in year dental check up. Clean the tongue with tongue cleaner after brushing. Neem stick, salt or charcoal can be used for brushing.

The bacteria feed on the sugars and starches in the foods and beverages consumed and produce acids that damage the hard enamel coating the teeth. Damage from this acid increases the risk of tooth decay (cavities).

Plaque can build up quickly on the teeth of older adults, especially if oral hygiene is neglected, and lead to tooth decay and gum disease. Brush at least twice a day with fluoride containing toothpaste. Floss at least once a day. Visit the dentist regularly for cleaning and examination.

It hardens under the gum line into a substance called tartar or calculus. Tartar irritates the gums and causes gingivitis. Gum disease is a leading cause of tooth loss.

The patient was encouraged in the prevention of the infection by eating healthy meals, keep mouth, teeth and gums clean, avoid people who are sick. The patient was encouraged in the prevention of the bleeding avoiding physical activities that could cause injuries. The patient was encouraged in the prevention in the anemia by eating a high-protein diet, and multivitamin supplement with minerals.

Perform stretching and relaxation exercises before getting out of bed. Use a tub seat and handheld showerhead when bathing when bathing. Rest before difficult tasks. Take frequent rest periods during the activity. Pace activities, and do not rush. Plan trips before going up and down stairs. Roll, push, or pull instead of lifting. Sit to perform an activity instead of standing, when possible. Hold objects close to you instead of away from your body. Use arm supports to perform an activity (i.e., resting elbows on table while shaving, brushing teeth, and eating). Limit activity on days of high air pollution.

Instructed patient how can I prevent infections. Keep your mouth clean. Saliva and mucus contain germs that cause infection if they enter your airway. Brush your teeth twice a day. Suction your mouth as needed. Use a mouth wash twice a day or as directed. Take deep breaths and cough 10 times each hour. This will decrease your risk for a lung infection. Take a deep breath and hold it for as long as you can. Let the air out and then cough strongly. Deep breaths help open your airway. You may be given an incentive spirometer to help you take deep breaths. Put the plastic piece in your mouth and take a slow, deep breath, then let the air out and cough. Repeat these steps 10 times every hour.
