                     Medications  
                          Patient was educated about potassium 10 meq 1 tablet oral daily this medication is given for treatment/ prevention of potassium depletion.
Patient/caregiver was educated about  potassium 20 meq 1 tab po daily this medication was order to treat possible potassium depletion induced by furosemide action. 
Patient/caregiver was educated about potassium 20 meq 1 tab po daily it is very important to take the medication with a full glass of water to prevent gastric distress.
Patient was instructed in a  list measures to meet diet requirements to avoid constipation such as: increase fiber foods  (grains, vegetables, legumes) and increase sugar free liquids, avoid prolonged sitting or bed to promote bowel movement, also take medication as order, Docusate Ca 240 mg 1 tab PO PRN for constipation 
Patient was educated to follow an adequate diet, high in vegetables cereals and increase the sugar free liquid intake as tolerated and recommended by MD to avoid constipation, also take medication as order, Docusate Ca 240 mg 1 tab PO PRN for constipation.
SN instructed pt on medication Lisinopril 20mg PO daily for HTN. Side effects include: dizziness due to a drop in blood pressure. Lisinopril can cause nausea, headaches, anxiety, insomnia, drowsiness, nasal congestion, and sexual dysfunction, and Severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis) and hives may result. Contact the MD as soon as the above signs/symptoms occur.
Instructed patient in new medication side effects ; the most common side effect is hot flashes (50% of patients) and facial flushing. Alcohol may worsen this reaction, and so it should be cautiously consumed. Other common side effects of the combination are diarrhea, constipation and overall pain including pain in the back, hips and stomach. Less common side effects are breast enlargement and breast pain, which may be due to the bicalutamide alone.

Instructed  ALF's staff  in new medication Hydralazine in common side effects such as; Headache, anorexia, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, palpitations, tachycardia, angina pectoris.
Instructed  ALF's staff  in new medication Aspirin in addition, warned of possible side effects such as tinnitus, hearing loss, nausea, GI distress, occult bleeding, dyspepsia, GI bleeding, leukopenia, hepatitis, rash, urticaria and others.
