blood pressure, or other diseases, etc.
Instructed in S/S of high
blood pressure such as fatige, palpitation, dizziness, headaches, nosebleeds, blurring of vision.
Instructed in need for proper nutrition to promote wound healing, including foods high
in Vitamin C and protein.
Instructed patient about signs and symptoms of pneumonia: high
fever and chills, chest pain, cough that may be productive, green, yellow or rust-colored sputum, malaise, loss of appetite, rapid pulse and rapid breathing.
Instructed patient on S/S of high
blood pressure, such as, fatigue, palpitations, dizziness, headaches, nosebleeds, blurring of vision.
Instructed patient about high
blood pressure and how it also increases the risk of developing kidney problems.
Instructed patient on how the habit of eating a lot of salt increases the chance of getting high
blood pressure.
Instructed patient about how a stroke can result from the damage that ongoing high
blood pressure causes in the body vessels. If the affected vessel stops supplying blood to the brain, as a result a stroke occurs.
Instructed patient about the damage that high
blood pressure can cause to the vessels walls. Fat and cholesterol collect in the damage spots forming a plaque. Blood cells stick to the plaque, forming a mass called a clot. A clot can block blood flow in the vessel.
Instructed patient that every day his/her blood pressure is too high
, the chances of having a stroke increases.
