It needs to be treated by a doctor. Common symptoms include: Redness, Red streaking, Swelling, Warmth, Pain or tenderness, & Leaking of yellow, clear fluid or pus.
Lactulose is an ammonia reducer and laxative. It can treat constipation. It can also treat liver disease. Possible s/e If you notice these less serious side effects, talk with your doctor: Gas or burping, Nausea, vomiting, mild diarrhea, Stomach pain or cramps.
Patient instructed Duloxetine is used to treat major depressive disorder in adults. It is also used to treat general generalized anxiety disorder. It is also used in adults to treat fibromyalgia (a chronic pain disorder), or chronic muscle or joint pain (such as low back pain and osteoarthritis pain). Take duloxetine exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Follow all directions on your prescription label. Do not take this medicine in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended. You may take duloxetine with or without food. Do not crush, chew, break, or open an extended-release capsule. Swallow it whole.
Patient instructed Levothyroxine is a medication used to treat hypothyroidism. Labs will need to be drawn routinely to check effectiveness & dose may need to be changed. Patient instructed to take this medication 30min. before breakfast & all other meds. Swallow the tablet or capsule whole, with a full glass (8 ounces) of water. The tablet may dissolve very quickly and could swell in your throat. Avoid the following food products, which can make your body absorb less levothyroxine: grapefruit juice, infant soy formula, soybean flour, cotton seed meal, walnuts, and high-fiber foods.
SN instructed patient Brovana (arformoterol) is a bronchodilator. It works by relaxing muscles in the airways to improve breathing. Brovana inhalation solution is used to prevent bronchoconstriction in people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), including chronic bronchitis and emphysema. Use Brovana inhalation solution exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Follow all directions on your prescription label. Open the foil pouch and remove one vial, leave the rest in the package.Sit upright in a comfortable position. Breathe in slowly and evenly until you have inhaled all of the medicine (usually 5 to 10 minutes). The treatment is complete when no more mist is formed by the nebulizer and the drug chamber is empty.Clean the nebulizer after each use. Follow the cleaning directions that came with your nebulizer.

Call your doctor right away if you notice any of these side effects: Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing, Blistering, peeling, or red skin rash, Dark urine or pale stools, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, stomach pain, yellow skin or eyes, Chest pain, cough, or trouble breathing, Confusion, weakness, Muscle twitching, Severe diarrhea, stomach pain, cramps, bloating, Skin rash, purple spots on your skin, or very pale or yellow skin, Sore throat, fever, muscle pain, Uneven heartbeat, numbness or tingling in your hands, feet, or lips, Unusual bleeding, bruising, or weakness. If you notice these less serious side effects, talk with your doctor: Mild nausea, vomiting, or loss of appetite.
Avoid convenience foods such as canned soups, entrees, vegetables, pasta and rice mixes, frozen dinners, instant cereal and puddings, and gravy sauce mixes. Select frozen meals that contain around 600 mg sodium or less. Use fresh, frozen, no-added-salt canned vegetables, low-sodium soups, and low-sodium lunch meats.
Patient instructed Omeprazole is used to treat symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and other conditions caused by excess stomach acid. It is also used to promote healing of erosive esophagitis (damage to your esophagus caused by stomach acid). Omeprazole is usually taken before eating (at least 1 hour before a meal). Follow all directions on your prescription label and read all medication guides or instruction sheets. Use the medicine exactly as directed.
Alendronate is a bisphosphonate medicine that alters bone formation and breakdown in the body. This can slow bone loss and may help prevent bone fractures. Alendronate is used to treat osteoporosis caused by menopause, steroid use, or gonadal failure. This medicine is for use when you have a high risk of bone fracture due to osteoporosis. Common side effects may include heartburn, upset stomach, stomach pain, nausea, diarrhea, constipation, bone pain, or muscle or joint pain. SN instructed pt to report if she experiences any of these s/sx. Pt voiced understanding.
SN instructed patient about the heart is a muscle that pumps oxygen-rich blood to all parts of the body. When you have heart failure, the heart is not able to pump as well as it should. Blood and fluid may back up into the lungs (congestive heart failure), and some parts of the body don’t get enough oxygen-rich blood to work normally. These problems lead to the symptoms of heart failure. Follow a heart healthy diet. And make sure to limit the salt (sodium) in your diet. Salt causes your body to hold water. This makes your heart work harder as there is more fluid for the heart to pump.
