Instructed patient about Omeprazole cap in the most common side effects such as; diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, headaches, rash and dizziness. Nervousness, abnormal heartbeat, muscle pain
, weakness, leg cramps, and water retention occur infrequently.
Caregiver/A.L.F's staff was instructed in new medication Zitromax, give it to take an hour before eating any food, and the most common side effects such as; diarrhea or loose stools, nausea, abdominal pain
, and vomiting.
Patient was instructed new medication Vitamin D, is used for preventing and treating weak bones (osteoporosis), bone pain
(osteomalacia), and an inherited disease (osteogenesis imperfecta) in which the bones are especially brittle and easily broken. It is also used for preventing falls and fractures in people at risk for osteoporosis.
Amlodipine is used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure and chest pain
(angina). SN instructs the patient about the new medication Amlodipine / Benaz may cause dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting, especially when you get up suddenly from a lying or sitting position, if you feel dizzy, lie down so you do not faint. Then sit for a few moments before standing to prevent the dizziness from returning. If you faint, call your doctor right away.
SN instructed patient on s/s of htn crisis, while seeking immediate medical attention for chest pain

, irritation, bruising, or redness of the skin at the site of injection. Other common side effects include bleeding, anemia, diarrhea, and nausea.
Patient with biliary catheter SN instructed patient when to call the doctor or go to emergency: Active bleeding at the drain site that does not stop after you put finger, pressure on it, more pain
or swelling at or around the drain site, your temperature is greater than 101 degrees fahrenheit, with or without chills
Instructed patient / caregiver inspect the site daily for any irregularities, such as swelling, redness, leakage or pain
. If any irregularities or complications are noted, report them to a healthcare professional immediately.
Instructed patient caregiver seek professional help immediately if any discharge, redness, swelling or pain
around the catheter insertion site is noticed.
