Actonel Teaching 1345

Serious side effects of Actonel are chest pain, difficulty or pain when swallowing, pain or burning under the ribs or in the back, new or worsening heartburn, severe joint, bone, or muscle pain, or jaw pain, numbness, or swelling. Stop taking the medication and call the doctor immediately if any of these side effects occur.

Santyl Teaching 1386

Instructed patient on new medication Santyl ointment. It is used for removing the dead skin from wounds or burned areas. Santyl ointment is an enzymatic debriding ointment. It works by breaking down dead skin.

Lisinopril Teaching 1558

SN instructed pt on medication Lisinopril 20mg PO daily for HTN. Side effects include: dizziness due to a drop in blood pressure. Lisinopril can cause nausea, headaches, anxiety, insomnia, drowsiness, nasal congestion, and sexual dysfunction, and Severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis) and hives may result. Contact the MD as soon as the above signs/symptoms occur.
