Taught that low back pain and headache may constitute as signs/symptoms of constipation.
Instructed patient to store NTG in a cool, dark place, in a tightly closed container (this will assure freshness). Replace supply of sublingual tablets every 3 months.
Instructed patient about S/S complications associated with CHF, including bounding pulse, decreased urinary output, increased SOB, increased edema and sudden weight gain.
Instructed patient to eat before each dentist visit, to prevent hypoglycemia.
Taught that maintaining body weight under control is a measure aimed to controlling/managing Congestive Heart Failure (CHF).
Taught that Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) develops very slowly and may be very advanced before symptoms develop.
Instructed on some potential complications of Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), such as: damage to such organs as liver, kidney and/or brain, among others.
Instructed on some signs/symptoms of depression, such as: tiredness, listlessness and loss of interest in normal activities, among others.
Taught that most people with high blood pressure do not feel sick.
Patient was instructed on hypoglycemia. Mild hypoglycemia can make people feel hungry or nauseus . People Could also feel jittery or nervous. The heart may beat fast. The body may sweat. Or the skin might turn cold and clammy.
